Serving local causes by raising awareness and impacting our community - Social Impact Initiative Miss and Miss Outstanding Teen candidates and titleholders will have an opportunity to not only win scholarship, but to learn leadership skills and advocate for their unique "Social Impact" Initiative platform, plus one candidate for both the Miss and Teen will win a college scholarship, and will be crowned for each title. At that time, she becomes eligible to compete for Miss Florida, the official preliminary for Miss America! The 100 year old Miss America organization is no longer a swimsuit beauty pageant: It is an organization that is awarding outstanding high academic achieving, young women across America, hundreds of thousands in college scholarships every year! |
